Meet the Founder
Hello. My name is Juanita Alvarez, and I am the Founder of Day 1 Leaders. Hailing from the innovation hub of Silicon Valley, I bring a unique perspective and deep understanding of the tech world. My journey includes stints at high-tech giants like Okta, Amazon Lab126, and Apple, where I collaborated with VPs within their legal departments. This experience has not only taught me the ropes of the industry but also shaped my leadership skills.
My professional journey also includes being a certified Asana Ambassador and Workflow Specialist for project management. I'm constantly augmenting my skills through leadership and management courses. With a solid foundation in legal studies and corporate leadership, I've had the privilege of working in Wall Street, Seattle, and San Francisco, further enriching my experience.
Day 1 Leaders was born from my passion for helping others unlock their full potential—whether in their personal lives, professional pursuits, or their broader aspirations. My diverse experiences have equipped me to empower individuals from all walks of life with the tools they need to thrive. Here's a fun fact about me: I grew up in Mountain View, CA, where I had a front-row seat to the rise of the Googleplex. This sprawling campus, which eventually became an iconic symbol of Google's innovative culture, was right in my backyard, sparking my fascination with the tech world!
